Karen Khangura is a second year medical student at the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine and is currently serving as the National SAMSA Chapter Chair. She has worked in conjunction with Sean Corcoran, Director of Health Disparities of the Student Osteopathic Medical Association to develop a helpful guide for those interested in hosting a health fair. The following guide highlights the essential components needed to prepare for a successful event such as considering a target population, accessibility, medical materials, health education resources, and COVID-19 precautions. This serves as an easy to follow template to adhere to when in the process of setting up a health fair. National SAMSA is committed to promoting the well-being of our community members through safe practices and preparedness. The following guide was formatted by Fatima Baig, a medical student at Chicago Medical School at the Rosalind Franklin University and National SAMSA Communications Chair.
